Associate Degree or 2-year Programs |
Associate Degree in Nursing programs are 2 year nursing programs designed to prepare entry-level registered nurses. General education and nursing classes as well as clinical and and skills lab learning opportunities are courses of study offered in these community college programs. While many colleges and universities accept transfer credit for all or part of the course work required for the baccalaureate degree, AD programs are generally not designed for transfer to four-year colleges and universities unless there is a 2+2 program in place. Here's some information on financing your education.
